Sustainability is at the core of our business model, and while we put tremendous effort into ensuring that each CatsEssentials item is made with the highest-quality materials, and free of harsh chemicals, we are pleased to have another way to give back and help the environment.

The partnership is designed to be simple for our customers to get involved in global reforestation. For every product purchased that is made from wood we plant one tree in the Amazon rainforest. 

Trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute to our health and wellbeing, and create jobs for social impact.

Why the Amazon rainforest?

The Amazon is the world’s largest rainforest ecosystem, it spans 9 countries and is home to almost 30% of plant and animal species on Earth. Its forests play a critical role in the fight against climate change. Unfortunately, due to logging, unsustainable agriculture, and forest fires, it’s also a high-risk zone for deforestation and degradation.

Planting trees in the Amazon Rainforest will help protect the Amazon's biodiverse primary forests and restore degraded land. It will help conserve habitat for its iconic wildlife species, provide sustainable livelihoods to local people, and stabilize the climate.
